L. E. Wesselmann Cleaners was established in 1890, and is the oldest and largest volume dry cleaner in Buffalo, New York. We have dedicated many years to serving the Greater Western New York area. Our roots were first set down on Niagara Street. In 1940, with an eye toward expansion, we moved to a larger location at 564 Colvin Ave. where we remain to this day.
The past ten years have brought on a major expansion again, doubling our size to 20,000 sqft of production space. Our plant offers a complete package of dry cleaning services, tailoring and alterations, fur cleaning and secured storage, window treatment, stuffed animals, and suede and leather cleaning. In addition to this we have route service that features free pick up and delivery to your home or work place.
Our BRIDALKARE, division, is one of the largest wedding gown preservation providers in the United States and Canada. From cleaning to pressing, boxing and shipping, gowns, uniforms, christening outfits, and communion outfits, we are a recognized leader in the wholesale and over the counter markets.
CRDN, Certified Restoration Dry Cleaning Network, is our fire and flood division. CRDN is an association of dry cleaners that provides textile restoration services to the insurance industry. It is our mission to help homeowners heal from a traumatic experience, assist insurance companies in claim management, and help them reduce claim cost. We react swiftly to allow the general contractor complete their service.
