SMOKY QUARTZ:

From grey to warm brown, light and clear to an almost "solid" looking black/brown. The coloration is due to natural radiation occurring in its environment. Excellent specimens are currently found in Brazil, Switzerland, the Himalayas, and Mexico. In the U.S., they are found in Nevada, Arkansas, California, and Colorado.

Metaphysical Properties:

Dissipates negativity. Balances energies of mind and body.  Good for meditation.  Protective and grounding stone. Enhances dream awareness and channeling abilities.  Mitigates depression, is mildly sedative and relaxing.

HEMATITE:

 Black ore has been used since ancient times when grounded to powder cave men used it to make cave drawings; Egyptians used it to decorate Pharos?s tombs. Native Americans used its powder for war paint. Aztec?s used the purest black and polished it to use it as mirrors. It is known as a heavy stone and can be used for jewelry.

CITRINE:

- Iron is the element which gives Citrine its warm golden color. Extreme heat, whether naturally occurring or applied by man, will turn amethyst into a burnt golden color. Technically, it is "burnt amethyst," but is usually categorized as citrine. 

Metaphysical Properties:

Citrine is one of the only stones which dissipates negative energy, and never requires cleansing or clearing. Warm energy, promotes optimism. Also attracts abundance, and is known as a "merchants' stone," to be placed in cash register or where one conducts business, to not only acquire positive wealth but to maintain it as well. Good for mental focus, endurance, and self-esteem.

AMETHYST:

 - Amethyst has been known as the most highly prized form of quartz. It is the presence of manganese in quartz that produces the purple color, and iron content varies the coloration. Amethyst may be found throughout the world.

Metaphysical Properties:

Physical representative of the Violet Ray. Cuts through illusion. Enhances psychic abilities. Excellent for meditation. Aids channeling abilities. Sedative, protective. Enhances feeling of contentment and a connection to one's spirituality. Stone of peace and strength.

AVENTURINE :

 Aventurine is often referred to as the all-purpose healer. This means not only that it is considered by many to be good for physical disorders, but that it heals on all levels. Green is the color of healing, and aventurine, as a member of the quartz family, has a concentrated ability to dissolve blockages.
It's a particularly effective crystal for emotional healing (and is especially helpful when worn for this purpose or placed on the heart center during chakra balancing). It helps to balance the emotions, and is one of the best stones to wear or carry during stressful periods. It can also be used in crystal layouts when stress is internalized in the solar plexus area.

MOONSTONE :

 Moonstone is a feldspar gem material, which received its name because of its luminosity and resemblance to the glowing Moon. It has been prized as a gemstone for thousands of years.

(white or tans) Vibrates to the moon energy, new beginnings, hopes and wishes, confidence, composure, assists in fulfilling destiny, traveler?s stone, talisman of good fortune,welling, insect bites, and celestial communication.

QUARTZ CRYSTAL:

- Quartz is one of the most abundant minerals in the world. Sand is mostly comprised of quartz; even the dust in the air is high in quartz content. The most well-known form of quartz is clear rock crystal, and it may be found throughout the world. Particularly fine specimens are currently found in Brazil, the United States, the Swiss Alps, the Himalayas, Peru, and Madagascar. The largest single quartz crystal recorded was approximately 20 feet long and weighed more than 48 tons.
