Western New York Holistic Alliance Mission
Statement/Purpose/Group Charter/Constitution
Mission Statement: “the mission of the Western New York Holistic Alliance is to assist humanity in the healing process by working with the whole person (holistic) and allowing the body to heal itself.”
The Western New York Holistic Alliance is a 501C not-for-profit organization.
Purpose: “the purpose of the Western New York Holistic Alliance is twofold. Firstly to act as in networking service amongst vendors and practitioners, and secondly to educate the community on what holistic health and wellness is.”
The networking service helps vendors and practitioners firstly in the area of getting to know each other, and secondly to help one another boost each other’s businesses.
Group Charter: “everyone is welcome but not everyone is ready for admission.”
Ego must remain at home as ego is not encouraged within this group.
“The word EGO stands for EDGING GOD OUT.” - Ken Harsh
We as a group believe this regardless of anyone’s individual religious or philosophical background. Even people who do not believe in a centralized God character (atheists and agnostics) are welcome in this group. You may replace the word “God” with the word “good” if you choose. Whatever your concept of a higher power or creation figure is, you are welcome in this group as we are all part of the oneness of all there is.
In order to boost our practices and help more people we must let go of fear and ego. The energy of fear and ego will destroy a group like this. It is our responsibility to maintain the integrity of the group and insure its survival for now and future generations.
There are those who believe they are an island unto themselves and do not need assistance and have no desire for networking. The group respects their right to choose. There are those who fear that the business will be taken away. (This is referred to as poverty thinking.) We believe that we are all in this together and besides there is more than enough business to go around for everyone. (This is referred to as prosperity thinking.)
