Holistic Alliance Meeting may 07

MEETING BEGINS- 7:10pm.

Great meditation led by Tom Baum.

Introductions of new people. In order to have a better control of time, we used a sand timer that gave each speaker 2 minutes. This worked very well and kept the meeting running smoothly.

Hostess – Leanne Oldenbrook – Talked about her place and what she does.

Attendees – Laura Jean Casteluzzo, Alisa Parlette, Uriah Nunn, Barbara Simpson, Patricia Mahone, Elaine Desing, Susan Contino, Thomas Baum, Clay Dinger, Donna Nichter, Renee Karen, Kathleen Swann, Carolyn Musial, Alexandra O’Toole and Mary Dipota.

Discussion of what day of week is best for everyone, sent around sign in sheet. If you were not in attendance, please send Nancy an e-mail (nandara@adelphia.net) with your preference. Meetings will now be held on various evenings to accommodate everyone’s schedule.

 

Membership – We need commitment from many more members in order to hire an attorney and become an official 501(c)3 group.

Laura Jean mentioned the checks should be made out to the HOLISTIC ALLIANCE only you do not need to add WNY. Laura Jean will add this info on the Yahoo site.

Dues - $100.00 for year. This will be good through December, 2008- Dues will pay for attorney, insurance, website and advertising.

Former members of Solistis (David Marcus’ group) may be contacted to see if they are interested in joining the HA.

Upcoming Parties – One yr. Anniversary - Saturday September 8th either 1-4pm or 2-4pm? Possibly at Ben Nazitto’s healing center in Clarence. Tom noted we have the caterers. This will be open only to dues paying HA members.

Sunday August 19th –This would be a membership drive and open to all interested holistic practitioners. This will be a potluck and held outdoors. We need a place to hold it, so let us know if you have an idea or a location. There will be a short business meeting followed by networking, eating and fun!

FUTURE MEETINGS

Next Meeting - Friday June 15th 7 p.m.at Hypnosis in Niagara 105 Main St. in Niagara Falls. Hosted by Jim Costanzo and Debbie Blanchard. Jim’s place overlooks the rapids, so following the meeting we will watch the fireworks over the falls.
